First Tee Chattanooga & Chatata Valley Skills Challenge Results

June 20. 2013  The re-schedule date for the First Tee of Chattanooga Drive, Chip, and Putt Skills Challenge qualifier was a success! No wind, no rain, and no lightning this time around. A big thank you to First Tee of Chattanooga Executive Director Kathleen McCarthy, and coaches Ronnie Workman and Jonathan Keeten for hosting and helping make the event a great success!

Two qualifying events remain for a chance to compete in the Junior Skills Championship July 23rd at Council Fire GC – June 26th at Valleybrook G&CC and July 8th at Signal Mountain G&CC. Click here to sign-up for FREE!

May 29. 2013  Yesterday was the first of four Drive, Chip, & Putt Skills Challenge Qualifiers. Thank you to Chatata Valley GC, Craig Lee, John Maupin, and Cody Godfrey for helping to make the event a success! Three qualifying events remain for a chance to compete in the Chattanooga Junior Skills Championship at Council Fire GC.

Chatata Valley GC Qualifiers:

Boys 14-15:  Clay-Alden Palmer, 111 points; Jake Campbell, 101 points (won putt-off)
Boys 11-13:  Hunter Vasquez, 98 points; Sam Marshall, 94 points
Girls 11-13:  Rheagan Hall, 96 points; Miranda Rich, 52 points
Boys 8-10: Mac McMahon, 65 points
Boys 7&U: Tripp Hall, 72 points

Dori Paschall serves as the Tennessee Golf Foundation's Regional Director for the Chattanooga Area. Dori is the fourth director to be added under the TGF's regional director umbrella. Dori Webb Paschall grew up in Athens, TN and spent her early golf years playing courses in and around the Chattanooga area. After graduating from Tusculum College in 2001 Dori began an internship with the Tennessee Golf Association and has been involved with the TGA and Golf House Tennessee for over 10 years. She is excited to bring her experience and knowledge of the business to Chattanooga, back to her roots.
