First Tee Address:

REGISTRATION FOR JACK MCKENNA DAY HAS CLOSED.

Registration & Pick-up
We have a large group attending this year and in order to keep the things moving as best we can we will register the kids using a “curb-side” method. PLEASE DO NOT PARK UPON ENTERING THE FACILITY. PROCEED TO THE DROP-OFF AREA FIRST. We will have people on-site to direct you. Please be patient as we work to get kids checked in. Have trunks popped open and kids ready to exit once you pull up.

Picking up will take place in the same manner once the day ends.

Parents are welcome to be on-site during the day. You may want to bring a camping chair as there is limited seating on site. Lunch will be for the kids only.

Note for Parking
Parking on-site at the First Tee Facility will be reserved first for handicapped persons and parents/guardians of kids ages 4-7. There will be an overflow parking lot available just up the road at Tyner United Methodist Church if you would like to park (turn left out of the first tee lot, take a right at the first light, Standifer Gap Rd, and the church is on your left).

A fun, free golf clinic for kids ages 18 & under. Features putting, pitching, chipping, and full swing. For all skill levels.

The day will also include fun activities with the UTC Men’s & Women’s Golf Teams, giant inflatable animals like Golfzilla, as well as fitness, nutrition, and resources for other junior golf programs in the region.

Lunch is included for kids!

Jack McKenna had a passion for teaching golf and helped many kids develop a love for the game some years ago. Jack McKenna Junior Golf Day began in 2012 as a way to honor Jack and his legacy of teaching. Our goal is to continue to get kids excited about learning and playing the game just as he did.
