Long Drive Competition benefitting The First Tee of Chattanooga

Registration is open for Chattanooga’s Inaugural Long Drive Competition. Qualifying for the competition begins this Saturday, October 4th, additional qualifying dates are October 9-11. All events take place at The First Tee of Chattanooga, 2453 Hickory Valley Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37421.

Participants will each get three shots for $10 and may enter twice. The longest drive of the three will be recorded (must stay within 40-yard boundary) for a chance to advance to the finals on October 16th.

The top four qualifiers, plus the top two seniors and top two females, will compete at the finals on October 16th. The finals will be broadcast live on WGOW-FM’s Sport Talk radio show.

The finals on October 16th will also feature a golf festival, open to the public and free admission. The festival will feature a straight drive contest, glass-breaking and other “Big Break” type contests, a chance to win a pair of Footjoy DNA golf shoes, a cookout, and more.
